Creation of websites from graphic work created by designer. The sites were created in PHP and CSS, with wide use of includes, so that each new page only requires new text adding, and a new page is created. A header file defines what is required for each page. Sites include landcorpinternational.com and prestigebrokers.com. Also starting upgrading Spanish-living.com, as it had many pages, which only worked in Internet Explorer. I also created a PHP based call management system, from scratch, which included complete database design. The system is used by telesales staff, and makes wide use of Ajax to update the pages, together with reports for management. This system is not open to the public, for obvious reasons.

This project was done entirely over the internet, from my own office. Creation of database, and writing PHP and Ajax code from scratch, to create a system for patients to speak to doctors, and to track the calls, in order to pay commissions.

Working solo
Creation of multi-listing property website for the use of my wife. The site accepts lists of property for sale from other agencies in XML form, and displays all the properties together in a searchable database. Notable features are maps of the property locations, plus geo-location, showing the nearest towns with more property. The site is also displayed within other sites, using CSS to keep the look and feel of the original site.

Working with a very small IT Team on a Medical Insurance software system, using Object Oriented techniques with Delphi 3 and Delphi 5, with OLE used to access MS Word and MS Excel. Also use of ODBC to link to Excel files and Text files for EDI. Some Component Design, for mailmerge and visual components. Software to maintain and report on clients' details, establish costings, and log telephone calls. Creation of full documentation and internal systems procedures. Also, finally, supervising, designing, advising coders, and some coding of new company Intranet using HTML, and JavaScript.

After working on the development of internet banking / Euro banking software in Brussels, FICS transferred me to their main Netherlands office, making enhancements and upgrades for systems written in their Brussels office software company.

Development of various parts of software packages for banking, especially internet banking, for all of the main Dutch and Belgian banks, plus some UK High Street banks, but mainly with ABN Amro as an end client. Preparing for Year2000 and the Euro.
