I am unusual in that I have both technical and business skills. This makes me great for interfacing with clients on technical issues - I know how to be professional and represent your brand.

I can also either manage development teams (I've managed teams of up to 80) or work as a developer myself.

I am a specialist in building web-based applications such as database-driven e-commerce sites, event booking systems and news and document distribution systems.

I also design and build Intranet and Extranet systems to manage everything from company news to complete business management, including job tracking, timesheet logs and invoicing.

Role Description

This start-up software publishing company was part-owned by Software Warehouse PLC (now Jungle.com) and Kiss Software Inc. (US). The objective was to re-brand, re-engineer and market US software products in Europe. The success of the venture resulted in it's sale in 1994 to Roderick Manhattan Ltd, where it was incorporated into the group, allowing both Kiss and Roderick Manhattan increased market share.

Role Description
As Managing Director for this startup company I was required to build the business from the ground up, from business plan to first contract. It was here that I recruited my first software development team to re-engineer US products and develop Windows applications using Borland Delphi.
